EDUCATOR TRAINING INSTITUTION READINESS IN DEVELOPING FUTURE PROFESSIONAL TEACHER:
A CASE STUDY IN UIN SYARIF HIDAYATULLAH

This paper presents the results of research on UIN Syarif Hidayatullah's readiness in developing future professional teachers by its pre-service training professional program. Mix method is used to collect and analyze both qualitative and quantitative data in the research. The results showed that in general, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Education is ready to organize preservice training since it has fulfilled the indicator stated in the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation number 87 year 2013 shown by general readiness index of 2,9 so it is classifed as well prepared while highest score is obtained by human resources and thesis supervisor aspect, each with index of 3,29. The lowest score is in students dormitory aspects with index of 2,20. Two recommendations are made based upon the analysis. First, the institution needs to optimize the function of the faculty's quality control group as an internal measurement to increase quality of Educator Training Institution. Second, the institution needs to prepare supporting infrastructures such as microteaching and decent dormitory to held more effective pre-service training.
