EVALUATING THE IMPACT OF YOUTH MADRASAH TEACHERS PROGRAM ON MADRASAH PERFORMANCE

This article presents an evaluation of the impact of training program, alumni performance's aspect, as well as work unit performance aspect on young teacher of madrasah. Education and Training Center for Educational and Religious Technical Personnel of the Ministry of Religious Affairs has regularly provided services, including specialized training for young teachers, analysis of short-course training, coordinative meetings, and monitoring of quality assurance. Taking those wide scope services into account. However, there is no examination on assessment program with reference to the impact of the training program for madrasah and its teachers. This research utilized a modified Kirkpatrick Level Result and with the use of a mixed methods namely case study and survey methods. This study was conducted at 58 Madrasahs and 518 respondents who comprising of alumni of training programs, colleagues of the alumni, and principals of Madrasahs. This research employed Likert scale questionnaires, observation, as well as interviews in the data collection stage. The data has been analysed by both qualitative and quantitative methods. The results from this study indicate that alumni of education and training programs are capable of writing a concluded teaching and learning instruments, carring out teaching and assessment process, monitoring quality assurance, achieving routine jobs, solving the problems and improving cooperation and work relationships, implementing, receiving, as well as advising the result of the training. Thus, The Education and Technical Training Program for Madrasah Young Teachers have a significant impact on the development of alumni and madrasah performance.
